Danny Hogan was mid-expedition, trekking along the ridges of the Cantabrian Range in search of a mythical manuscript, when the call came. A renowned explorer, adventurer, and man of science, Danny was on the verge of a major breakthrough in his new school of fundamental thought that fused moral hedonism with liberal naturalism and would usher in an era harmony, equality, and reason to the cold modern world upon completion. But fate, it seemed, had other plans.

The Order summoned Danny and bestowed him with a new assignment: to go undercover in Hollywood’s studio system, infiltrating it under the veneer of an aspiring writer-producer, in order to find those responsible for the pillaging of modern art and culture. “I’m just an analyst!” Danny shouted, but to deaf ears. And so Danny’s dark descent began. He earned an MFA from Loyola Marymount and found a troupe of belligerent misfits to fit in with before diving into the assistant trenches on numerous TV productions. This modern-day form of slave labor was coupled with the thankless toil of script writing in order to gain the attention of his primary suspects of cultural mass genocide.

But Danny got too deep. Somewhere between the parties awash with drugs and ambition and the orgiastic glory promised by selling a script Danny lost his way, forgetting why he was there in the first place. Plagued by this duality of man, he wanders the existential voids of Los Angeles and Manhattan in search of himself.

Daniel has been a Launch Pad Finalist, has had multiple screenplays optioned, has adapted a best-selling novel for a major producer, and, most recently, put his knack for dangerous settings to use working as a Story + Field Producer for National Geographic and Discovery. Daniel currently works on the upcoming reboot of Gossip Girl.

He has, in essence, become the very thing he swore to fight against.

**Point Break, Rush Hour, and Bad Boys II are just a few of the films to be based off of his life rights, which are currently under option by Michael Bay.
