Daniel Hogan - Daniel Hogan hails from San Diego, California, where he was raised in a family of surfers and scientists. He developed a deep curiosity for the relationship between people and their environments from an early age, fusing together a unique worldview of science and narrative that now dominates his work.
Daniel went on to graduate from UCLA’s Institute of the Environment, where he was awarded the honor of valedictorian of his class. With his degree in one hand and a map in the other, Daniel left the laboratory to bring the stories of the world to audiences instead. He frequently backpacks around the globe for inspiration, fascinated with dangerous settings and underexplored subcultures ripe for edgy stories with contemporary social significance. His explorations have helped inspire his feature film scripts as well as a half-dozen television pilots.
Daniel has worked at Sony and Fox studios, free-lanced as a travel and entertainment writer, completed UCLA’s Screenwriting Professional Program, and has his MFA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University. Currently, Daniel has an EDM-oriented action-thriller in development at Intrigue Entertainment, and works as a Production Assistant on the hit show Family Guy.
